Organic Whole Rye Flour

Our organic Whole Grain Rye Flour contains the entire rye seed. It is a full-flavoured flour that is perfect for hearty, peasant-style breads and for the production of natural rye starters and sourdough. This flour would also be known as a "Dark Rye" flour.

Rye is a good source of manganese, potassium, copper and phosphorus. It provides magnesium to lower blood glucose, regulate blood pressure and normalize heart rhythm. Rye contains slightly less fat than its wheat counterpart but more of the fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin E.
